A giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) is the product of the Iris Giclee printing press, which was invented in France. Giclees offer the highest degree of accuracy and richness of color available in any technical reproduction of original artwork. They provide a luminnosity and brilliance that represent the artist's original work better than any other technique available today. The giclee is superior to lithography and should not be confused with laser prints, neither of which has the fine resolution of the giclee |
